MASTER OF SIGNS

With this collection, the artist delves deep into the mysticism of signs. “There is only one true master of signs - God, or the ‘old one’ as Einstein called him,” he shares. According to the artist, the ‘creator’ shows everyone - not just a few chosen ones - signs. It is solely up to us whether we recognise and see these signs or not. Awareness, observation and mindfulness are key to understanding these signs. “I started seeing signs close to 10 years ago, and these are my expressions of a few of them”.

PROTECTOR

MIXED MEDIA ON CANVAS | 12 X 12 IN

“It’s instances like these - small daily miracles that happen in my life, which I really love,” says the artist about the creation of ‘Protector’. Only after finishing it, he noticed elements of Ganesha, the God who grants prosperity, success, and more importantly to the artist - protection. “Upon a bit of research, I found out that the colours I had used - orange, blue, gold and white - are the same that are used to symbolise Ganesha”. Such happy little synchronicities confirm to the artist that he is on the right path - being exactly where he is supposed to be, doing exactly what he is supposed to do at the right time.

WATCHER

MIXED MEDIA ON CANVAS | 12 X 12 IN

In ‘Watcher’, the artist envisions an angelic being - the one who watches over us and the one who is always awake. This being was first described in the Book of Dan, as part of the Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream.

“I saw in the visions of my head as I lay in bed & behold a Watcher, a holy one came down from Heaven” -Dan 4:13

M CUBE

MIXED MEDIA ON CANVAS | 12 X 12 IN

A rendition of a sacred geometrical symbol, ‘M Cube’ stands for Metatron’s Cube. The archangel is often described as a celestial scribe, and this Cube contains all the sacred geometry shapes and symbols in the universe.

NETWORK

MIXED MEDIA ON CANVAS | 12 X 12 IN

‘Network’ represents the ether that runs through us and everything around us - it is the matrix we are living in. “Every atom in the air around us holds so much power, we can tune or tap into it and vibrate at that level - that’s what happens when one meditates,” says the artist.

He postulates, that on the path to ascension, becoming aware of this ether is important. “The ether reacts to every thought and action of ours. In other words, we are responsible for creating our own reality. This means it is also in our hands to change it,” says the artist. Expressing gratitude in the present through this network is one of the steps to spirituality, as illustrated in this painting.

BORROMEAN DIMENSION

MIXED MEDIA ON CANVAS | 71.50 X 71.50 IN

I first observed this symbol in my head while meditating for my attunement to the merlin trinity healing system. It was three interlocking rings inside a triangle. The image came to me first, but the knowledge or awareness about what it was came much later. While the Borromean Rings symbolises unity, the painting depicts the dimension of this unity. The orange-tinged squares with bright yellow borders depicts nine dimensions

STARGATE L

Mixed Media on Canvas | 60 X 48 IN

Once you cross the prominent yellow borders in this painting, you will enter a world of numbers and mysticism. The ‘L’ in the title refers to goddess Lakshmi, which the artist has depicted through a series of numbers. The borders also contain the artist’s interpretation of the Shri Yantra, a mystical diagram prevalent in Vedic sacred geometry.

LOVE

Mixed Media on Canvas | 18 x 18 In

With the painting ‘Love’, the artists expresses a universal truth - love is what binds us and everything around us together. It illustrates a person, at the centre of the painting, with his heart in his hands, offering all that he is to his one true love. Joy, happiness, romance, trust and loyalty, these are all represented with the colours of blue, pink, red and yellow.

WILL

Mixed Media on Canvas | 18 x 18 In

While a large dragonfly is detailed in ‘Will’, upon a closer look, the painting will reveal many more. These curious creatures make their way into this work as they stand for metamorphosis, self-realisation and transformation - all that is required for one to move forward. If one has the will, the self-determination, one never gives up, even if the path is full of obstacles.

FREE

Mixed Media on Canvas | 18 x 18 In

Red, white, blue - universally acknowledged as the colours of freedom - have a strong presence in this painting, titled ‘Free’. In one corner of the work, the artist drew a khanda, a symbol of the Sikh faith, which the artist was born into. “Because Sikhism was started with the purpose of freeing people, at a time when there was much violence and persecution in the country, I associate freedom with it,” shares the artist.

SELF

Mixed Media on Canvas | 18 x 18 In

“It is who I am now,” says the artist about ‘Self’, a painting dominated by the colours of pink and blue. The artist chose these colours to represent himself, with pink embodying love, romance, tenderness and acceptance, while blue denoting integrity, knowledge, peace and harmony. “It is a mixture of the masculine and feminine,” says the artist. When he discovered that he is ambidextrous while painting, he realised both parts of his brain were activated - the masculine and the feminine - bringing balance into his life.

AURORA BOREALIS

Mixed Media on Canvas | 40 x 40 In

Here on earth, the transcendental Northern Lights, that is the Aurora Borealis, appear often in shades of green, blue, and pink, but in this artwork the colours are predominantly red and orange. This is because the artist isn’t just depicting the Aurora Borealis as we see it. Instead, he visualises it as a gateway to celestial dimensions, creating links from our world to Neptune and Saturn.

EDEN 2.0

Mixed Media on Canvas | 24 x 24 In

Blooming flowers in reds, blues and oranges welcome one in this portal, a gateway to the fabled Garden of Eden. The painting has a vivid 3D appearance to it, portraying heaven on earth in all its beauty.

ANOROC INCEPTION

Mixed Media on Canvas | 40 x 40 In

To end something, one must start at the beginning. That is, the first step towards overcoming a major catastrophe (such as the ongoing pandemic), is to embrace the power of love.

‘Only Love is Real’ is boldly splashed across this painting, which the artist considers to be the paramount truth. “Once we accept this and believe it with every cell of our being, only then will all the lower vibrational insignificant things, such as the virus, cease to exist in our reality”, he says.

SHIVAYA

MIXED MEDIA ON CANVAS | 24 X 24 IN

The divine symbol of the trishula or the trident of Lord Shiva is at the centre of this painting, boldly in black. As ‘adiyogi’ or the ‘first yogi’, he is the first to a transcendental state of consciousness. The artist believes that we can all achieve this state, but only through meditation. He depicts this meditative state in the spiral of colours that appears in the background.

DEFLECT

MIXED MEDIA ON CANVAS | 24 X 24 IN

While this painting features another trident, this time around the artist draws inspiration from ancient Norse mythology. According to the artist, the trident — depicted in a horizontal position in colours of neon green and pink stands for deflecting negative energies. It closely resembles the ancient rune symbol for block and deflect.

dreamcatcher

Mixed Media on Canvas | 24 x 24 In

In Native American culture, a dreamcatcher is an item that is placed over one’s bed to ward off nightmares — a symbol of protection. The painting features depictions of beautiful beads and feathers, which usually adorn dreamcatchers.

YELLOW RHYTHMIC

WARRIOR I

Mixed Media on Canvas | 12 x 12 In

In this series, the artist offers four different takes on the Yellow Rhythmic Warrior, which when put together reveals a bigger picture. The personification of the Yellow Rhythmic Warrior focuses on social constructs such as equality and balance for all, and champions the credo that the most effective action against obstacles is not to fight blindly, but to question intelligently.
